BEN chimney safety barrier from SOGEM is a black metal safety barrier that offers great flexibility in use. The powder-coated metal grille consists of five elements, each angle of which can be adjusted individually. This means that this protective grille for stoves, fireplaces or stairways can be installed in a surprisingly versatile way. It remains stable at all times and meets the European safety standard EN:1930:2011, TÜV SÜD/GS. The barrier is 278 cm wide and 71 cm high. It can be extended with two additional elements, sold separately, to a width of 350 cm or 422 cm. A wall mounting system is included in the package. Its central gantry is operated by a one-handed safety system and allows comfortable handling.

To increase the strength and stability of the chimney barrier, it can be fixed to the wall at both ends. To do this, the ends are attached to wall brackets with a hanging bracket. The wall brackets are firmly screwed to the wall. This makes it quick and easy to install and remove the chimney/oven barrier. It contains information on the correct position of the chimney/oven guard as well as on its use as a playpen, its maintenance and cleaning.
