This solid wood child safety gate pivots and is particularly suitable for wider stairways and exits. Extensions allow it to be adapted to individual widths.
PIET child safety gate for doors and stairs from SOGEM combines different materials. The gate is approximately 73 cm high and is made of solid wood. It is mounted in a metal frame. It can be opened in both directions, to the left or to the right, up to 90°. The child safety gate can therefore be used universally. The one-handed safety lock makes it easy to open and close from both sides.
The lacquered wooden surface protects the wood and is safe for young children. The smooth surface is also easy to clean. PIET from SOGEM is mounted between two walls or door frames using PVC safety brackets and flat head screws. The discreet PVC brackets are securely screwed in place. The flat head screws are placed in the brackets, which makes it easy to install the barrier in doors of different widths and in stairwells.
The width of the barrier is 71.3 cm. But thanks to extensions, PIET from SOGEM can also be installed in wider stairwells and landings. Two extensions are already included in the scope of supply and allow PIET to be extended to a width of 91.1 cm. Further extensions are available as accessories, the dimensions of which can be found in the following table:
