The SATURNE is a ½ spiral staircase (180° rotation) with staggered treads whose small width guarantees a minimal footprint. Allied to restricted spaces, it is the space saving staircase above all.
The SATURNE is composed of 90 mm diameter spacers that support the 12 steps of the staircase while maintaining a regular spacing between the treads. Its height is 299 cm depending on the placement configuration you choose (cfr.technical data sheet). It has a 1/2-spiral shape and a black lacquered metal handrail as standard. The combination of wood (spruce or beech) and metal gives the SATURNE a modern and designer look.
The SATURNE's treads are 22 cm deep and are shaped and offset to promote practicality with minimal space requirement. Reversible, to mount the staircase to the left or the right, the SATURNE can also be easily adjusted to the height of your available space. In fact, it comes in two sizes: 120 x 60 cm and 140 x 70 cm.
Depending on the diameter chosen, the measurements of the stair cavity will have to be adapted. The latter represents the ceiling opening required for the installation of your staircase. If you opt for the 120 cm diameter model, your rectangular stair cavity will need to measure at least 125 x 65 cm. If you prefer the wider model, 140 x 70 cm, the stair cavity will need to be at least 145 x 75 cm.
Both functional and decorative, the SATURNE is part of what we call "secondary staircases", those reserved for access to secondary rooms such as a mezzanine or an attic. Made of fir or beech, it can be covered with oil, varnish or paint for even more personalisation.
Tip: With this type of staircase, the descent is only possible through the longest side of the staircase opening.
