Lightness characterizes the BIAX staircase. Its structure with two central stringers in Valchromat®, its elegant treads in solid laminated beech, its aluminium banister and its beech handrail are not unrelated to this. It's hard not to fall for it.
In its straight or 3 winder treads down version, the BIAX offers a modular floor/floor height of between 275 and 294.6 cm. Both configurations have the same number of treads: 14 (11 + 3 winder treads for the version of the same name). The steps are elegant (30 mm thick and 27 cm deep) but particularly robust because they are made of solid laminated beech. The whole gives this staircase a great lightness, reinforced by a central double stringer.
These stringers, supplied in 2 pieces along the length, are made of Valchromat®, a particularly innovative, water-repellent, non-toxic and ecological material, made of natural wood fibres dyed in the mass. The finish, in the case of the BIAX, is an anthracite grey oil that echoes the colour of the RAL 7024 aluminium handrail. The 40 mm diameter handrail, on the other hand, is made of beech wood and has a natural varnish like the treads.
Staircase in kit form, the BIAX can be delivered, as an option, with a 25 cm recutable bullnose step. This makes it easier to adjust the staircase to the measurements of your room. Also available as an option: 120 cm or 320 cm landing banisters to be installed on the floor.
Last clarification: the BIAX displays a width of 85 cm but you will have the leisure to adjust this width according to your wishes.
If you are looking for a modern, airy and light staircase, the BIAX should meet your expectations.
