Finding the right staircase when you have little total run can quickly become a headache. With the "space-saving" LYON staircase, you have found the solution! The space requirement can be reduced thanks to the 3 different configurations of its 4 winder treads but also to its adjustable height.
This floor/floor height can thus vary between 234 and 282 cm; the width of the first flight can measure, as desired, 74.6 cm, 88.5 cm or 104.2 cm depending on whether you start with the 4 winder treads or place 1 or 2 steps before this ¼ turn. The LYON consists of 11 steps (4 of which are ¼ turns) 35 mm thick, 71 cm wide and 18 cm deep in varnished multiplex beech. No need, therefore, to apply a protective layer to your future staircase yourself!
The lightness of the LYON is reinforced by its black lacquered steel central stringer which gives it an airy look. For the banister, the posts (25 mm) and rails (15 mm) are also made of black lacquered steel (RAL 9005). The 40 mm diameter handrail is made of varnished beech, like the steps.
Staircase in kit particularly easy to assemble yourself, the LYON has another advantage: it is FSC certified. This gives you the guarantee that the wood used comes from responsibly managed forests. The FSC label is one of the only certification systems to be supported by environmental organisations such as the WWF and Greenpeace, among others.
